Inspired in part by the Hockney Retrospective at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC, I created this series of work--the Warburton Series-- which focussed on the already significant role photography and time play in my work. I took a walk down Warburton in Hastings and shot almost one thousand photos. I often collage photos as maquettes to paint from, but in this case, I created digital collages as final images.
